We provide low cost ESL classes, Citizenship classes, immigration assistance and scholarships. The New Neighbor Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides support to our immigrant neighbors through donation-based ESL, citizenship, and HISET/GED classes, as well as citizenship application assistance and scholarship opportunities to help provide a holistic pathway to citizenship for people in our community. Since 2021 we have served over 1500 refugees and immigrants from ages 16-82 from more than 15 zip codes, four parishes in the greater New Orleans area, across the US, and Internationally.
