Dúo León Your Custom Text Here The Ensemble Dr. Hannah Palmquist Hite harp Susan Miranda oboe Ensemble Bio Duo Leon is a versatile oboe and harp ensemble based in the Twin Cities. The duo performs music by composers of multiple genres with a focus on new music by underrepresented composers. Duo Leon has shared educational programs with classrooms across Minnesota and has shared their interactive musical story The Ugly Duckling by harpist and composer Alyssa Reit with libraries throughout Minnesota.

We are very excited to add another work inspired by a Minnesota National Park to our roster of works for oboe and harp. Join us tomorrow at Hamline University's Sundin Music Hall to hear Julie Johnson's First Ice on Kabetogama. We will share the stage with a number of fantastic musicians celebrating the music of Julie Johnson.
