The organization's mission is to facilitate spiritual discernment and provide practical resources to those seeking to establish contemplative communities, similar to the Journey Center model. This involves guidance and support for individuals exploring their spiritual journeys and those interested in creating similar centers in their regions.

JCA offers a range of programs and resources, including:

Finally, groups can become full Member Groups, licensed to use the Journey Center name and receiving comprehensive support in establishing a nonprofit organization.

Through its work, the Journey Center Association fosters a network of spiritual communities focused on contemplative practices and personal transformation. Its resources and events help participants deepen their spiritual understanding and create spaces for others to explore their faith journeys.
