We are proud to announce we have united with @SABALegal, the SABA Foundation, and 20+ other SABA chapters in the US and Canada to support immediate COVID relief for India. A devastating second wave of COVID-19 cases is deeply affecting India, leaving families and communities in desperate need of assistance. All individual donations we receive at the link below through May 31, 2021 will be used to support reputable charitable organizations fighting COVID in India, of which UNICEF will be the first one. MISSION STATEMENT MISSION STATEMENT The South Asian Bar Association of San Diego SABASD is a San Diegobased nonprofit organization that includes legal professionals of South AsianAmerican descent as well as those interested in the issues affecting South AsianAmericans in the community. SABASD strives to promote the professional and academic development of its members increase the opportunities for South AsianAmerican legal professionals to participate in and lead civic and public affairs support efforts to increase diversity in the legal profession raise the communitys awareness of relevant legal issues affecting the interests South AsianAmericans support public interest associations providing pro bono legal services and other grassroots community organizations serving the South AsianAmerican community and serve as a resource and an advocate for both South AsianAmerican legal professionals and the South AsianAmerican community.
