One Accord for Kids
One Accord coordinates community institutions to bring safety, stability, and permanency to children and families in the Permian Basin and Concho Valley. One Accord works with communities and individuals to ensure the safety and well-being of the vulnerable children in the Region 9 communities. The mission of One Accord for Kids is to transform lives in West Texas by strengthening families and connecting communities. One Accord engages, coordinates, and facilitates community stakeholders to improve outcomes for children and families in the local child welfare system. We envision a loving, local family for every child in West Texas – providing healing, permanency, and stability with the support of their community. One Accord works with communities and people compelled by action to ensure the safety and well-being of the vulnerable children in West Texas. One Accord collaborates with people of faith, businesses, non-profits, schools, and community members to ensure stability and permanency for children and their families.
