PEDAL 4 LIFE NFP
Pedal4Life's Pathway to Home program engages those recovering from opiate addiction in the physical, social, and emotional benefits of bicycling. Pedal4Life works with drug treatment centers to build bicycling into their patients’ recovery process for the purpose of experiencing the physical, social, and emotional benefits of recreational bicycling. Clients who complete the program keep the bicycles and gear. The bikes provide transportation to jobs and job interviews while building natural endorphins and a healthier lifestyle. Pedal4LIfe also produces public television programming and offers Pedal4Life graduates paid internships with the Pedal America TV show.
