Equine Facilitated Personal Growth and Healing. Sessions scheduled by appointment. LGBTQ+ owned business InterMission’s primary focus is teaching resilience to girls ages 8-12. Resilient people have good tools to handle adversity, so resilience can be protective against traumatic impacts when bad things inevitably happen. For those that have already experienced adversity, healing the underlying wounds is an important part of developing resilience to move forward positively. Within and surrounding this focus, any client with a love for animals and a willingness to participate actively in the growth and healing process is welcome. Partial and complete scholarships are available, so area youth and their families have access to this powerful mode of healing without regard to their financial situation.
