As the world's only museum dedicated to ventriloquism, Vent Haven mission is one of preservation, acquisition, education, and promotion. Vent Haven Museum's mission is four fold: to continue to expand through donations of ventriloquism dummies and puppets and related ephemera, to meet the conservation standards of the American Association of Museums, to teach the general public about the history of ventriloquism and its current status as an art form and communications tool, and to increase appreciation of ventriloquism through the museum's collection and public outreach
