Creating pathways for individuals with disabilities to engage in the community, achieve greater independence, and attain employment. Vocational Guidance Services Under the Wing provides individuals with disabilities and people that are incarcerated with the opportunity to enrich the community through animal rescue services. Our services include emergency foster care, which is provided for the companion animals of families unable to care for them temporarily due to domestic violence, illness, rehabilitation or other emergency. Under the Wing also provide basic rescue services including basic medical care, socialization, foster/adoptive home placement and the management of a feral cat colony.

Fresh air and movement are great ways to support mental and physical well-being. Last week, a group of VGS participants took time to enjoy the sun with a walk and a game of catch. Special thanks to Cathy, a volunteer from University Hospital for joining in on the fun.
