(ACCA) is a nonprofit, community-based organization (CBO) serving New York City's five boroughs. Our innovative visual arts programs, which focus on painting, serve as positive youth development vehicles for at-risk young people between the ages of 7 and 14. While ACCA considers all of NYC to be our agency's "canvas," we emphasize the delivery of services to traditionally neglected and marginalized neighborhoods in the five boroughs, e.g., Bedford-Stuyvesant, Bushwick, Brownsville, Red Hook, East New York, Fort Greene, Jamaica, the Rockaways, Clinton/"Hell's Kitchen," Central Harlem, Washington Heights and the South Bronx.
