Founded in 1979, The Women's Building is a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural, multi-service center for women and girls. Our mission is to provide women and girls with the tools and resources they need to achieve full and equal participation in society. The Women’s Building is a historically women-led and community-driven space on a mission to provide resources to recognize their collective power and self-determination. Since 1971, the organization has represented and been guided by the belief that all women and girls have the right to safe, joyous, and creative lives.
