Transformative Justice Healthy Lifestyles Program
THE HEALTHY LIFESTYLES PROGRAM (HLP) IS AN EVIDENCE-BASED, CULTURALLY RESPONSIVE, AND STRENGTHS-BASED COGNITIVE BEHAVIORAL INTERVENTION THAT TREATS CRIMINAL BEHAVIOR AS AN IDENTITY PROBLEM. THE PROGRAM CONSIDERS CRIMINAL BEHAVIOR AS PSYCHOLOGICAL AND BEHAVIORAL. THE PROGRAM TARGETS MENTAL HEALTH AND PROSOCIAL IDENTITY DEVELOPMENT, WITH INDIVIDUALS CONSIDERED AT HIGH RISK OF JUSTICE INVOLVEMENT.
