Sequoia Nursery School a parent cooperative nursery school since 1947 Welcome Sequoia Nursery School is a parent cooperative preschool providing playbased learning opportunities for young children since 1947. Sequoia Nursery School a nonprofit parent cooperative preschool is located in a beautiful park setting of the Sequoia Lodge in Oakland CA. We are a community of about 30 families a director and a teacher working together to create an ideal playbased environment for children to grow emotionally physically socially and intellectually. Extremely supportive environment and a very caring community offering a pressureless playbased curriculum.
