Creating a Performing Arts Destination at Liberty Station Cygnet Theatre and NTC Foundation are partnering to transform historic former navy Building 178 at Liberty Station into a worldclass performing arts venue for San Diego creating a permanent home for Cygnet Theatre. Building 178 Performing Arts Center will include two stateoftheart theatre spaces with spacious ADA accessible seating a rehearsal space open air lobby two elegant bars three landscaped patios ample restrooms and parking. The venue will also provide jobs and training programs encourage increased partnerships with underresourced communities throughout the region bring 50000 theatre attendees each year to patronize nearby businesses and provide space for numerous other performing arts organizations.
