The Philadelphia Chapter of the American Harp Society represents and supports the local harp community in the Greater Philadelphia Area. The Philadelphia Chapter shares the same mission of the American Harp Society, Inc. which is to celebrate our legacy, inspire excellence, and empower the next generation of harpists in the Philadelphia area. The Philadelphia Harp Society embodies the rich harp history of our city. Members include leading soloists, orchestral players, commercial, jazz and popular performers, freelancers, harp therapists, college and university professors, adult amateurs, and students of all ages. Philly Harp offers networking opportunities for professionals and a support system for students of all ages and non-professionals. By working together, we can unite to bring world-class harpists to Philadelphia for the benefit of our membership and the general public.
