Akokwa American Development Association Home Previous Next A Vision of Change Akokwa American Development Association was established in 1989 to form a partnership between the community in the United States and the village of Akokwa Imo State Nigeria for the betterment of its people. Our vision is to be a catalyst for change not only in Akokwa but throughout Nigeria. Dedicated to providing opportunities to students through scholarships and other giving activities to help them thrive inside the classroom and within their communities. AADAs initiatives such as our upcoming library project are designed to awaken and inspire potential within the Akokwa community.
