Sheboygan County Interfaith Organization-SCIO is a non profit that works to improve the quality of life for families. We believe that strong families make strong communities. Sheboygan County Interfaith Organization ( SCIO ) was established in 1989 as an interfaith organization in Sheboygan County, Wisconsin. This organization was willing to put theological differences aside to assist those who would otherwise fall through the cracks of society. It’s with a social justice mind that interfaith organizations came together to create grassroots solutions to local injustices, offering the community a way to use their God given talents to transform the community through education, advocacy, and programs that will create dignity and to improve the quality of life for all people. SCIO has three programs; Bridgeway, a residential transitional living program for homeless women with children, the SCIO Farmers Market and a Supervised Visitation Program.
