The Housing Rights Committee of SF
Since 1979, the Housing Rights Commission of San Francisco (HRCSF) has been dedicated to combating the displacement crisis gripping our city by building the power of working-class tenants of color to take on the real estate industry and win housing justice for all. Through organizing and peer-counseling programs, we empower both private-market and subsidized housing tenants, to connect with their neighbors and transform their communities while transforming themselves.

THE HOUSING RIGHTS COMMITTEE OF SAN FRANCISCO Fighting for Tenant Rights since 1979 Defending Tenant Rights and Building Power Since 1979 Founded in 1979 the Housing Rights Committee of San Francisco began as an eviction prevention clinic and has grown into a movement empowering tenants to take charge of their housing and community stability. We believe real change occurs when tenants organize and take collective action ensuring no tenant stands alone.
