Its a real blessing to be able to partner with such a great company and wonderful DaVita Labs Pediatric Activity Book Drive A huge thank you to DaVita Labs for partnering up with Backpacks from the Heart on the upcoming charity drive again to collect coloring books crayons and small toys for the kids at the local Christmas for the Homeless Truly He taught us to love one anotherHis law is love and His gospel is peace. After breakfast and presents at home we headed downtown to spread a little Christmas cheer to our local brothers Homeless Shelter Childrens Christmas Thanks to the unbelievable generosity of those that donated on Facebook and via PayPal not only were we able to fill boxes of toys games and the like for each and every child in the DaVita donations to Edith Stark Elementary School An abbreviated collection drive by some amazingly ambitious and generous people afforded us the opportunity to deliver 100 backpacks filled with school supplies as well as an additional case of supplies for the teachers to Apr 23 DaVita Nashville Pediatric Activity Book Drive April 23 2019 The Nashville office of DaVita TMC dropped off their donations to the The Childrens Hospital at TriStar Centennial httpsthechildrenshospitalnashville.

Can’t believe it’s already been NINE YEARS since I first “adopted” Edith I Starke Elementary School…time surely flies. Belts were definitely tighter this year with the addition of a puppy in the house and my looking to fund my own feature film, but neither should take away from kids and their ability to have access to school supplies, so I waited until the best sales presented themselves and did as best I could: 100 10-pack pencils 20 10-pack black pens 20 10-pack blue pens 100 blue folders 100 red folders 100 black folders 100 yellow folders 100 purple folders 40 1 subject notebooks - green 40 1 subject notebooks - blue 40 1 subject notebooks - red 40 1 subject notebooks - yellow 40 1 subject notebooks - purple 50 single subject composition folders 500 pencil top erasers 50 2-pack block erasers 50 dual glue sticks 100 lined paper - 50 pages each Just a couple actual backpacks Prayers to the teachers and students at Edith Stark Elementary for a wonderfully successful school year. 💜🙏.

Found out that we have the day off today so it gave me the opportunity to head over and buy some coloring books and activity books and race them over to the pediatric Cancer center…roughly 300 this round… If you have been blessed with the means and desire to contribute to one of the efforts, please don’t hesitate - everything adds up and anything is greatly appreciated. Next will most likely be school supplies for Edith Starke Elementary school again…need to do my part to make sure no child goes without the necessary school supplies. Thank you 🙏💜.
