Each year, the Secular Student Alliance awards scholarships to student activists who are active in their local community and passionate about state/church separation and intersectional activism. SSA scholarships are open to full-time high school and college students residing in the United States who in addition to pursuing excellence in their academic studies are also activists for the separation of church and state, social and economic justice, LGBTQ+ equality, racial justice, protecting the sustainability of our planet, and other action that helps to create a more just and equitable world.
