Youth With A Mission of West Michigan is a part of the broader Youth With A Mission (YWAM) network, a global interdenominational Christian mission organization. YWAM West Michigan began its operations in 2020. In 2023, it partnered with Kuyper College, a move that enhanced its educational and ministerial offerings. This partnership allowed YWAM West Michigan to house its base on the Kuyper College campus, facilitating students' ability to live on the campus during their training phases [1].

Programs and Activities

Discipleship Training School (DTS) is a central program for YWAM West Michigan. The DTS consists of two main phases: the Lecture Phase and the Outreach Phase. During the Lecture Phase, students engage in foundational Christian teachings, worship, intercession, and Bible study. Following this phase, students participate in the Outreach Phase, where they share the Gospel cross-culturally in various locations around the world, often serving alongside local believers and missionaries [1].
