Innovative Change Makers (ICM) stands on our mission statement: "Working together as a community to provide innovative alternatives to hazardous lifestyles. Successfully reaching our youth through ongoing mentorship, peer-mediation, Job Readiness Training, and our modular curriculum. Highlighting the essential fundamentals of a healthy, legitimate, and prosperous way of life". We address individuals with a whole person-centered approach, and work with the family as a whole by providing programming specific to youth, as well as programs for parents and guardians. Innovative Change Makers strives to address youth mental health with a focus on Trauma Informed Care. We provide positive social interactions which allow youth to experience their childhood, connect with Peer Counselors, and learn life skills. Innovative Change Makers intends for our community engagement to help individuals take appropriate actions to better their lives and have the resources to determine their own destiny.
