Improving the living conditions for underprivileged children and the communities by providing education, basic needs and housing repairs services in Miami Dade CIO has three programs;The Hands-On Service Learning Program, The Low Income Housing Repair program and, Basic Needs and Emergency Assistance Program. Our mission is to revitalize distressed communities by improving the living conditions of underprivileged children, the elderly, people with special needs, and low-income families; as well as to further and strengthen the education of college/university and K-12 students through hands-on service learning and civic engagement.
