Chelsea Factory CHELSEA FACTORY A popup space in the heart of Manhattan dedicated to the artists of New York City. At the height of the Covid19 pandemic when New York Citys cultural sector faced an existential falloutChelsea Factory launched as a popup to quickly and meaningfully respond to a wide range of artists and audiences needs. In Fall 2021 we opened our doors in the heart of West Chelsea just steps from The High Line Hudson Yards and Chelsea galleries. Occupying a historic building from 1914the former home to NYCs first taxis to Annie Leibovitz to Cedar Lake Dance CompanyChelsea Factory has for the first time ever devoted the space to the artists of NYC.
