The Network is united by a mission to reinvent schooling in a way that maximizes options for students while preparing them for the jobs of the future. CAST schools emphasize project-based, student-led learning that allow students to act as co-creators and co-problem solvers at their school and within the community. The CAST model strives to include industry and community leaders as co-creators in everything from curriculum design to governance. The result is a system of benefit for all involved; students learn from and interact with organizations, while partner organizations play a direct role in cultivating a skilled and passionate workforce for San Antonio's industries of highest need.
