We work toward the prevention of homelessness and creation of lasting solutions for homeless and at-risk families and individuals throughout Colorado. Creating Lasting Solutions to homelessness in Colorado for over 30 years. The Mission of the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless is to work collaboratively toward the prevention of homelessness and the creation of lasting solutions for families, children, and individuals who are experiencing or at-risk of homelessness throughout Colorado. CCH advocates for and provides a continuum of housing and a variety of services to improve the health, well-being and stability of those it serves. Since its founding 40 years ago, the organization has earned state and national recognition for its integrated healthcare, housing and service programs. The Coalitions comprehensive approach addresses the causes of homelessness, as well as the consequences, offering critical assistance to over 20,000 individuals and families each year.

Colorado Coalition for the Homeless, Park Avenue Housing Corporation
As you have likely heard by now, the GOP-led Congress just passed the most harmful Budget and Reconciliation bill this generation has ever seen with just two Republicans and all Democrats voting in opposition. All four Republican congressional representatives in Colorado—Boebert, Crank, Evans, and Hurd— voted in support of this terrible bill despite thousands of their constituents begging them to take a more compassionate and thoughtful approach. As the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless has shared over multiple weeks, this bill will have devastating impacts on low-income households by stripping away their access to healthcare coverage through deep Medicaid cuts and decimating access to food for families through cuts to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).
