Dunwoody Police Foundation is a non-partisan independent nonprofit entity dedicated to improving policing by supporting the Dunwoody Police Department. Dunwoody Police Foundation seeks to improve public safety for the officers and Dunwoody citizens. Dunwoody Police Foundation is an independent, non-partisan 501 (c)(3) organization dedicated to improving policing by financially supporting the Dunwoody Police Department and its personnel via emergency aid grants to police officers and their families during emergency situations, such as injuries or the unthinkable death in the line of duty. Dunwoody Police Foundation also supports the purchase of special equipment and specialized training for Dunwoody Police Department and supports community-oriented partnerships between the citizens and the Dunwoody Police Department to make the community of Dunwoody a safer place to live and work.
