Our goal is to remain steadfast as the largest growing communitybased peertopeer organization while providing a trusted space for Veterans service members and families to reach out for guidance and to connect What makes Alabama Veteran unique is that we have given the community full access to get involved in making a meaningful impact on the lives of our Veterans Our 100 Volunteer Staff ensures that every dollar raised goes back to those Veterans and families right here in Alabama More than 75 of Alabama Veterans Board of Directors Advisory Board Members and Community Ambassadors have been deployed in support of and in combat operations around the world. Some of them are family members that know the impacts associated with military life and deployments. Most of us have also navigated the service to civilian process and are aware of the challenges facing our transitioning service members.
