Emakia
Emakia is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit startup that researches and develops the filtering out of harassment on social media platforms. Emakia's goal is to provide a system that filters out unwanted content at the receiving end for social media users by using classifiers to filter out harassing messages. Emakia utilizes the latest AI technologies (Core ML and Auto ML) and through open source and collaboration with academic researchers with whom Emakia will share its data sets and code. Emakia also aims to provide social media users with an application called Enaëlle, which filters out unwanted content free of charge. In addition, an automated report will be generated when harassment is detected and appropriate social support avenues will be enabled to support the user.
