CELEBRATE. FOR LIFE. This year marks the 135th anniversary of the founding of Ramona. While there will be special celebrations throughout the year, we’ll also be posting some “fun facts” about Ramona’s history. FUN FACT - The Class of 1939 was the first class to wear the white formals for graduation instead of the formal uniform which consisted of a white skirt and blouse. Pictured here is Carmen Sandoval ’39. Her cousin who was a fashion designer designed their dress and arranged for the seamstresses to make them. Carmen is a cousin of Arthur Dominguez, who now serves on our Board of Trustees. His wife Vickie Still Dominguez graduated in 1977 and their daughter, Marina, graduated in 2008. #ramonaconvent #ramonaforlife (fb)
