TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ABOUT THE HISTORIC AND CULTURAL IMPORTANCE OF ARMS AND RELATED ITEMS; (2) ADVANCE AND FOSTER THE COLLECTION AND PRESERVATION OF ALL TYPES OF ARMS AND RELATED ITEMS; (3) PROMOTE THE STUDY OF FIREARMS, ACCESSORIES, MILITARIA AND EDGED WEAPONS; AND TO PROVIDE A MEANS FOR THE INTERCHANGE OF INFORMATION; (4) HOLD MEETINGS AND EXHIBITIONS WHERE MEMBERS MAY DISPLAY, EXAMINE AND EXCHANGE ARMS AND RELATED ITEMS.
