The Family Link is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organiztion, founded in 1985 in San Francisco, which serves people with life-threatening illnesses and injuries, by providing hospitality to their visiting family members and loved ones from around the world. The Family Link is a nonprofit, public benefit corporation established in 1985. The organization seeks to serve people whit AIDS and other life-threatening illnesses or injuries by offering hospitality to their visiting family members and friends. The Family Link provides affordable accommodation in a safe and supportive environment. The goal is to provide a "Home away from home" where guests, staff and volunteers together create an atmosphere of friendship and trust.

The Family Link A home away from home since 1985. Just uphill from Market Street The Family Links lovely Edwardian villa has become a home away from home for so many people for whatever time they needed it. Those who came soon became part of the family of strangers from places near and far. Our Story Events Their hospitality was wonderful when my son was in hospital diagnosed with cancer and had to have many operations radiation and chemo.
