Our Art From The Heart on Saturday bloomed with color, laughter, and all the magic of spring! 🌸 ✨ During our second Art From The Heart of the year, kiddos and their families got to gather at our Family Center to create some fun spring-themed crafts! May is brain tumor awareness month, known as Gray May. It’s a time to shine a light on the most common solid tumor found in children with cancer and to come together in advocacy, awareness, and hope for better outcomes. 🩶 Of the different types of pediatric cancer, brain tumors are some of the most common and the most deadly. During May, it is important to take the time to talk about and uplift the voices of kiddos and families who have been impacted by brain tumors. Kiddos that face brain tumors not only deal with the immediate challenges, but may also face long-term effects that can stay with them their whole lives.
