Georgia Educators for Equity and Justice Incorporated is a professional organization that is organized to champion for the liberation and belonging of Black educators, students, and educational stakeholders through extending resources and guidance in a variety of areas including but not limited to: advocacy, charitable purposes, civic engagement and responsibility, professional development, and recruitment and retention.

Georgia Educators for Equity & Justice About us Who We Are We are a professional organization dedicated to elevating the teaching profession with a special focus on creating supportive and empowering environments for Black educators. We strive to offer a diverse range of resources and guidance covering areas such as advocacy civic engagement and professional development as well as recruitment and retention. We concentrate our organizational activities in public school districts throughout the State of Georgia especially in areas with large disparities between the population of Black educators and Black students. Our Mission To restore prestige to the teaching profession and ensure safe supportive environments for Black educators and their students.
