Support artists whenever their existence at the Shipyard is threatened or impacted by current activities and conditions. Promotion of Opportunity and Diversity: Create and connect our community with business opportunities for artists. Support artists of color, especially Black artists. Community Engagement: Facilitate arts education and exhibitions that engage the Bayview Hunters Point community. Develop programs inspired by the intimate setting of artists' individual studios. Cultural Promotion: Promote this vibrant San Francisco cultural asset Engage the local community with the Shipyard's history.

Keeping the studios affordable facilitating arts education and exhibitions that involve people from our surrounding Bayview Hunters Point community and promoting programs and activities inspired by the intimate setting of artists individual studios comprise the focus of our work. Our goal is to promote this vibrant San Francisco cultural institution to the local and regional community.
