The Building Blocks Foundation, Inc
The Building Blocks Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3). We are seeking support to help fulfill the needs of the over 111,000 homeless children in the NYC Public Schools. Building Blocks Foundation aims to improve the educational experience for students who are economically challenged and are homeless. We want to improve students’ morale by providing the funds to dress like their peers, in new clothing that fits properly. We want every student to be afforded the opportunity at the start of each school to learn and think freely. New York City Public Schools have over 1.1 million students of which over 111,000 of them either reside with relatives or worse, sleep at different shelters throughout the city. We believe that if a student feels good about themselves it can help boost their confidence, this will increase their ability to learn by higher morale, better behavior and less bullying against them due to their misfortune.
