The Multnomah Athletic Foundation exists to increase access to opportunities in athletics and education for youth, with a priority on underserved and underrepresented communities. The Multnomah Athletic Foundation exists to provide confidence and character building opportunities with an emphasis on athletic participation for youth. We believe athletics can help youth reach their full potential. We believe in achievement through athletics.The Foundation provides financial resources through:• Grants to nonprofit organizations offering programs and services in the Portland metropolitan area, with particular focus on underserved communities.• Post-secondary scholarships based on students' academic performance, athletic participation and financial need for students to attend the two or four-year educational institution of their choice.

The foundation has provided over 824000 in community grants supporting youth sports participation and awarded over 2 million in scholarships to student athletes in the Portland metro area.
