Founded by Jason Maxwell a retired Iraq and Afghanistan veteran our Ohiobased nonprofit organization harnesses the profound healing power of nature to empower veterans helping them navigate the challenges of working though PTSD and reintegration to civilian life with strength resilience and a renewed sense of purpose. Our organization operates solely off grants sponsorships and donations which are used to cover the costs of travel lodging and operations cost yielding a zero cost to veterans in need of our services. At Warriors to Wilderness we believe in the healing power of nature and the camaraderie found in the outdoors and in that every veteran should have the opportunity to experience this at no cost to them.
