P2C Athlete Prep was founded in 2018 with the goal of providing comprehensive support to student athletes. The organization's history reflects its commitment to enhancing the lives of at-risk youth.
Programs
P2C Athlete Prep offers a range of programs aimed at student athletes. These include:
- Middle School Development Program: Designed for students in the 6th through 8th grades, focusing on academic success, player development, nutrition, health, and wellness, as well as student mentorship.
- High School Development Program: Tailored for 9th and 10th-grade students, emphasizing academic success, player development, nutrition, health and wellness, and student mentorship.
- College Preparation Services: Providing tutoring, mentorship, and SAT/ACT preparation to equip students for higher education.
Mission
The organization's mission is to empower at-risk youth to create positive change in their communities by overcoming barriers to education and sports. This is achieved through a combination of academic preparation, athletic development, health and wellness programs, and college readiness initiatives.
Impact
To date, P2C Athlete Prep has achieved significant results, including ensuring that 100% of program participants graduate from high school, with 96.4% going on to college. Additionally, 90.9% of participants have successfully used academic and athletic achievements to minimize college costs.
