Wishing Star Foundation

We foster hope, community and lasting memories by granting wishes for children with a terminal, life-threatening or medically complicated condition. Serving Spokane, North Idaho, Central Washington and local areas. We give hope to children who are suffering from a terminal or life threatening illnesses. We do this by providing uplifting and rejuvenating experiences refocusing on the joy of life. We provide lasting support and memories to families caring for medically fragile children. We treat families and associates with dignity and protect their privacy. We inspire greater community participation in fulfilling Wishing Star's Mission.

We want to send a heartfelt thank you for our $2,500 grant from the Avista Foundation for our Beyond the Wish Program!! At Wishing Star, the wish truly is only the beginning! While children are waiting to receive their wish or long after, Wishing Star Foundation’s mission is to offer enduring support through community gathering opportunities as well as financial assistance for families that are required to travel away from home to receive treatment for their wish💫 Thank you Avista Utilities for helping us continue to provide these opportunities to our families!!
