Supporting Sunrise BRIDGING THE GAP Starts with you We provide scholarships to future Birth Workers. Whether its in a hospital birth center or at home our mission is to assist Black AfricanAmerican AfroCaribbean Nubian student Midwives as we can in becoming licensed and serving their local communities. While our primary focus is on supporting Student Midwives we recognize that a family needs a team for comprehensive care. To ensure that birthing families receive complete support we also intend to offer scholarships for aspiring Doulas Lactation Consultants and Birth Assistants.
