Okay, Crescents. 💚🌜💛May is just about to wrap up, so we thought, “Why not one last weekly wrap-up before summer really hits?!” TBH, it’s really more of a monthly wrap-up, but nevertheless, buckle those green and gold seatbelts and away we go! 💚💛🚀 🎁 First up, those adorable senior retreat team members who made this year’s retreats so special surprised Ms. Jouandot with a thank-you gift! Can these Crescents be any sweeter? 🌸 Next, we gathered as a Cabrini community to crown the Blessed Mary at our annual May Crowning, and we gave a parting gift to Father Sanchez, who is being transferred to a new assignment this year. Thank you, Father, for your beautiful liturgies! 🎭 Then we swung back to the Esplanade Building where Ms. Argus (Margus? 🤔) gave her Theater I students a wrap-up of their own—that is, the completion of their course-end presentations. From costume design to script analysis, these theatrical divas put their hearts (and maybe a little drama) into their projects. Bravo!!! 🇫🇷 Next, we meet our frenchiest Crescents, who were inducted into the French National Honor Society at a beautiful ceremony that honored their dedication to language arts. Oui-oui!!! 🎤 Three 2025-2026 exec board members gave their first morning broadcast! Gooood morning, Crescents! ☕️ 🏆 And finally, we must honor three outstanding Crescents: Alaina Coleman ‘25, Ruby Tebbe-Crump ‘26, and Tessa Anderson ‘25, whose academic excellence resulted in major accomplishments. Alaina placed first in Civics at the LA State Literary Rally, Ruby placed second in Environmental Science, and Tessa was awarded the José Luis Banos Award for Excellence in Spanish by the Sociedad Española!
