SHAKESPEARE PAGE TO STAGE WHY ARE WE SO PASSIONATE ABOUT SHAKESPEARE. Some people might think a 400yearold playwright has little to say to 21st Century Cumberland County but our work with high school students has taught us otherwise. Though this unique Shakespearefocused theater arts program has been thriving at Carlisle High School for close to forty years we felt it was long past time to extend the drama passion wisdom and fun yes FUN. of the works of William Shakespeare into our local Carlisle PA community.
