The High Desert Keepers is a nonprofit organization dedicated to cleaning up, preserving, and protecting the High Desert. Through initiatives and community efforts, we strive to combat illegal dumping and promote sustainable disposal practices. We live in the High Desert of Southern California and our purpose is to maintain and protect our beautiful desert landscape. We serve the Antelope Valley, Victor Valley, and the Morongo Basin. Our number one focus is illegal dumping. As residents are aware, the High Desert has been experiencing heightened levels of illegal dumping and our goal is to clean it up and stop the dumping. To date, we have removed 367 tons of trash and over 1,000 tires from our desert. Working with other groups, nonprofits, San Bernardino County, local municipalities and communities of Victorville, Lancaster, Palmdale, Hesperia, Phelan, Pinon Hills, Little Rock, Pearblossom, Wrightwood, 29 Palms, Joshua Tree and surrounding areas, we shall strive to achieve that goal.
