Northwest African American Museum Freedom Day The 60th Anniversary of the Selma to Montgomery Marches Visit NAAM to enjoy FREE admission on Freedom Day as we reflect on the thirdfinal march from Selma to Montgomery on March 21. Interactive Story Time Enjoy a reading of Voice of Freedom Fannie Lou Hamer written by Carole Boston Weatherford and illustrated by Ekua Holmes. The childrens book explores the life of Fannie Lou Hamer one of the most influential women in the modern Civil Rights Movement. Community An Artist Talk with Myron Curry Spend an evening immersed in art with Myron Curry as he discusses his exhibit Where Do We Go From Here.
