THE EAST BAY LEADERSHIP COUNCIL PROMOTES ECONOMIC VITALITY AND QUALITY OF LIFE THROUGH RESEARCH, ANALYSIS AND ADVOCACY ON PUBLIC POLICY ISSUES THAT AFFECT THESE GOALS. OUR WORK IS DONE THROUGH TASK FORCES LED BY OUR VOLUNTEERS WITH KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE IN TRANSPORTATION, LAND USE, HEALTH CARE, BUSINESS, WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT/EDUCATION, ENVIRONMENTAL/MANUFACTURING, AND WATER. THE COUNCIL PROVIDES MONTHLY INFORMATIONAL PROGRAMS FOR ITS MEMBERSHIP, INCLUDING PRESENTATIONS FROM MAJOR PUBLIC OFFICIALS. THE COUNCIL ALSO PROVIDES AN ANNUAL SPEAKER SERIES WITH SPEAKERS AND PANELS ON MAJOR ECONOMIC AND POLICY ISSUES.
