Introducing Flik! Flik is about two years old and he is a Cavalier King Charles. He weighs about 12 pounds and is full grown. Flik is a very special boy and is looking for a special home. He absolutely loves his people! He would enjoy a home where somebody is home more than not. Right now he is in a foster home with multiple dogs which are much larger than him and he does well, but he really could take them or leave them. As long as he has his person he is perfectly content. We do not know how he is with cats. He did come from a home with children so he has grown up with kids his entire life. He was actually surrendered because the children were afraid of his eyes. Can you blame them? 👀😱 Flik is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative and received a Pro Heart injection that will protect him against heartworm for 12 months.  Adoption Fee: $350 Applicants must live within one hour driving distance of Cleveland, Ohio. A complete and approved application is required prior to an in-home meet and greet. Birdie went for her first walk in a park today! We weren’t sure how she was going to do since she is timid so we made sure we brought some friends with her. She did great! Having buddies really helped her with her confidence! She even dipped her toes in the river. 🥰 Birdie is going on seven months old now. We’ve had her for a little while waiting for a home. She originally came to us from the Holmes County dog warden when they reached out for us because she was shut down and they wanted her to get out of a noisy shelter. Since we’ve had her, she’s been nothing but sweet! She’s a little bit shy, but she opens up very fast. She absolutely loves other dogs and must have a playful buddy in an adoptive home. She also requires a fenced yard for her safety since she spooks easily. Birdie is crate trained during the day when everyone is at work but prefers to sleep in bed at night with her human foster dad. 😍 She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested in on monthly preventatives.
