Feral Cat Caretakers' Coalition – Caring For Those Who Care

Our mission is to educate for trap, neuter and return of feral cats with the focus on responsible and funded humane long-term managed care upon return. We advocate that feral cats have the right to a "quality of life" and feral cat caretakers have the right to humanely care for them with recognition and support from their communities. Our Feral Cat Caretaking Workshops address the responsibilities that are essential in navigating the complexities associated with ongoing care upon return of feral cats following sterilization and maintaining population control at the location of return. Our Sanctuaries without Walls Feral Cat Program(R) is focused on providing a quality of life for feral cats through education, recognition and oversight. Responsible humane TNR programs must factor in funding for the long-term managed care the cats are to receive when returned to their communities. Without this, the return can be an inhumane and intolerable situation for all concerned! FCCC is a dedicated advocate for a quality of life and respect for feral cats and kittens. A humane solution will be achieved when recognition and funding for their ongoing care and recognition of the caretakers who play a crucial role in their survival, upon return, becomes an all inclusive component for the solution of unmanaged feral cat populations!
