La Jolla Historical Society This exhibition invites viewers into the world of surfing through iconic photography by Roy Porello Jeff Divine and Ron Church original artwork by award winning designer John Van Hamersveld and surf boards from the greatest shapers in the region. Visitors will hear firsthand accounts of how the surfing community developed how it has evolved over time and the powerful connection to and appreciation of the ocean and nature that surfing engenders. We continued celebrating the Secret Garden Tour this week with a thank you reception for our volunteers, artists, musicians, designers, and gracious garden owners. One of the highlights of the thank you party is selecting the artwork for next year's program cover. Our winner for the 2026 cover is "Zen Path" by Dot Renshaw.
