Opened in October 2019, The Salvage Shop is Preservation Burlington's way of saving “house parts” from going into the trash and giving them new life. Preservation Burlington was founded in October 2016 when a group of neighbors came together to try to save a local architectural treasure - a 1920’s airplane bungalow. Sadly, it was demolished, but from the experience we realized the need for and interest in a local preservation organization. Since 2016, we have worked to PRESERVE, EDUCATE AND INVOLVE the local community in our preservation efforts.
